“Connecting the World, One Frequency at a Time”

INTRODUCTION

Ahmedabad Amateur Radio Club (AARC) is a vibrant community of licensed amateur radio enthusiasts based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Established with the aim of promoting the science and art of amateur radio, AARC brings together hobbyists, technophiles, students, and professionals who share a passion for wireless communication.

The club serves as a platform for learning, experimentation, and public service. Members actively participate in radio contests, field operations, emergency communication drills, and technical workshops. AARC also works closely with disaster management authorities, providing critical communication support during natural calamities when conventional networks fail.

Through regular meetings, training sessions, and awareness events, AARC encourages newcomers to explore the world of amateur (ham) radio and helps them become licensed operators under the guidelines of the Wireless Planning & Coordination Wing (WPC), Ministry of Communications, Government of India.

The club fosters a spirit of friendship, innovation, and public service, contributing both to technological advancement and community welfare.
